First Look at Neal Fraser and Travis Lorton’s Menu at The Strand House

Ever since we caught wind of plans for The Strand House in Manhattan Beach, we’ve been scratching our heads as to what the heck Neal Fraser and Travis Lorton are doing down there. Now the picture is pretty much complete, as we have the opening menu for you to suss out before the place opens in mid-August. It sounds like the expected Fraser stunner, filled with both imagination and farm and ranch bounty. Pork shoulder pate, roots from Wesier Farms, braised rabbit gnocchi, air-dried duck, almond grilled hanger steak, lomo curado, pizza with Manila clams, and duck fat fries leap out at us from a first glance, all sounding pretty intriguing and possibly marking another step up for South Bay restaurants.
