Tonight JiRaffe unveils its most accessible program since introducing Bistro Mondays, all to celebrate its fifteenth year. Every last Thursday of the month, chef and Santa Monica local Raphael Lunetta and staff will plan a different small plates menu of ten signature and seasonal JiRaffe bites, form which diners can choose four different items for $28, with each additional items priced at seven bucks each. The purple potato gnocchi didn’t make tonight’s cut, but you really can’t go wrong with any direction you choose here, be it a lamb chop with market squash, grilled manchego sandwich, or slow-braised short rib with horseradish cream and a polenta galette.
