John Mariani Hosts Five-Courses at Culina

John Mariani, the well-known food and wine writer for Esquire and Bloomberg, is coming to L.A. on July 21st to promote the launch of his book How Italian Food Conquered the World. The scribe will host a five-course dinner at Culina prepared by Vic Casanova, available for $125 per person with a copy of the book and wine pairings. Yes, we sort of wish Mariani was venturing east of La Cienega for a change so he could stop touting Wolfgang Puck as the potential savior of L.A. cuisine and Eva Longoria as a force concerning anyone, but what are you going to do? Check out the menu below and if you’re dying to get your hands on Mariani’s book (or maybe Mariani himself…), make reservations at 310-860-4000.
