Taking over the Venice Blvd. space that until recently housed Tacos Don Jorge's, Savor's Fast Food opened in late July in Culver City. The stripped-down restaurant space makes up for its simplicity with a long-lasting menu that includes dishes familiar to many local Mexican restaurants, complete with tacos, tortas, and hamburgers, while also including a few flavors from South America in its roasted chickens, Venezuelan-style arepas and empanadas, along with a few Westside curios like quesadillas laden with carne guisada, buche tacos, hot dogs, and a short selection of chicken burgers.
