For 41 years, Harold & Belle’s stands strong as a mainstay of creole dining in Los Angeles, getting a little bigger and a little fancier in that time, while still turning out the same beloved po’boys, gumbo, jambalaya, and étouffée that helped make them famous. This Thursday, the restaurant is celebrating its longevity with a great Blackboard Eats special truly worth getting, offering a four course set menu for only $35. The menu offers diners a taste of the traditional in servings of jambalaya, crawfish étouffée, and a choice of catfish or fried chicken, while also introducing a little novel comfort, as found in a dessert of Louisiana bread pudding with made Jack Daniels. See the full pre-fixe menu below and look for the special offer on Thursday before it evaporates.
