Chez Melange Celebrates South Bay’s Winemaking Roots

Redondo Beach’s Chez Melange is launching a one-night wine event that will highlight winemakers and winery operators who have roots in the South Bay, including Andrew Murray, Steve Pepe of Clos Pepe, and Chris Burroughs of Alma Rosa. There will be a total of ten winemakers pouring their chosen selections, while at least ten local restaurant have committed to preparing food that suits each wine, with The Strand House, Hudson House, Ortega 120, The Standing Room, and 1321 Taproom already signed on, and Chez Melange chef Robert Bell and the attached BarComida and Bouzy Gastropub adding to the edibles spread. Being held from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on October 2nd, this celebration of the South Bay’s wine heritage is priced at $95 per ticket and available through Chez Melange, where the event will be held.
