Last night Ray Romano supped in Mozza’s dining room with three other gents. Yeah, kinda cool. But back in the private dining room, the people we look up to as mega-stars held court. Sitting alongside Nancy Silverton, Ruth Reichl hoisted a glass to the room to celebrate Gilt Taste. Recalling a decade when L.A. was the most vital city for chefs and restaurants (as well as an ensuing nadir), Reichl thanked present mega-talents and table-mates like Joachim Splichal, Russ Parsons, Ludo Lefebvre, Jonathan Gold, Michael Cimarusti, Merrill Shindler, the Hatfield clan, David Myers, Evan Kleiman, Mary Sue Milliken, and Jon Shook for again bringing L.A. to an acme of culinary magnificence. Basically, if Mozza had gone down in an earthquake last night, there’d be one helluva void to fill in the local food world today. So, where did celebrities who can’t cook and are ready to spend their fortunes on Cheesecake Factory choose to eat this week? Take a look, if you dare.

Bob’s Big Boy: Vanessa Hudgens sipped out of the same milkshake as her new boyfriend. [Stuff]

Bru Haus: Jessica Simpson partied with friends at the new German place on Wilshire’s “frat party row.” Jessica Alba was there, despite being pregnant. [People]

Cheesecake Factory: Will Smith put the cheese back into the chain while picking up takeout. While there he ran into Shaq, with both proving, yet again, that money does not buy taste. [People]

Fig & Olive: Fox held its Emmy after-party here last Sunday, bringing together stars like Jane Lynch, Ty Burrell, and Julie Bowen with stars like Kyle MacLachlan, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Seal. [GS]

Katsuya: Pete Wentz came with a new girlfriend on Monday night. Word is he went straight for the priciest bottle of sake in the house. Trying to impress someone, Pete? [GS]

Mozza: Ray Romano was eating dinner with three pals on Thursday evening while Ruth Reichl was running the private room. [GS]

STK: Vinny Guadagnino had a 6 oz. skirt steak with creamy spinach on Thursday night. He also hit Beecher’s Madhouse this week. Can someone please call Jersey Shore’s fifteen minutes up already? [GS]

Sushi Roku Hollywood: American Idol champs Carrie Underwood and David Cook were spotted over a meal at Sushi Roku Hollywood. [GS]

Sushi Roku Pasadena: Hilary Duff and her douche, we mean dude, had dinner before hitting a movie. [GS]
