Downtown restaurant owners with their eyes on the bottom line were railing against The Lakers last spring. Then, come summer, they were mad at The Dodgers for chasing the team's fans away from happy hour. Now, the same crew is back to being pissy about basketball, now that the first two weeks of the NBA season have been cancelled. CNN reports on the hurt feelings of The Farm of Beverly Hills, who feels the league's suspension will damage one-third of its potential business at L.A. Live. What?! You mean people aren't always clamoring to go to a Beverly Hills-branded restaurant in a Nokia-sponsored Downtown mall? Shocking. [CNN]
