Just in time for Halloween, Reeds is releasing its “Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer,” a so-called “magical” soda for “wizards and witches” that cites its creation in 1374, we assume to circumvent any spellbinding lawsuits by the J.K. Rowling estate. The website even claims that this non-alcoholic concoction “places a ward of protection on those who drink it,” while we can at least assume it puts the whiz back in wizard. This Stevia-sweetened potion can currently be acquired, not through any kind of magical teleportation, but rather by good old snail mail. [Reed’s Inc.]
