Ugh! Another dependable sushi joint has succumb to the times. Beverly Hills’ Sushi and Kushi Imai, where all-you-can-eat sushi, skewers, and spirit-swilling united somewhat gracefully, has turned into Sushi Cam, a cash-only discount spot offering three-dollar rolls with both a name and signage one can’t help but compare to Sushi Mac’s, which recently shuttered a Sawtelle locale for the improved discount sushi experience, Sushi Stop.

One Yelper claims the owners of Kushi have stayed the same at Sushi Kam, merely choosing to ditch the all-you-can-eat concept. Unfortunately, the early reports so far don’t sound very promising. In other words, Hokkaido can’t come fast enough to the Westside.
