Oh food truck trend, just look at what you have wrought upon us all. The L.A. Kings hockey team brand is now accessible in a customized vintage ice cream truck that’s been converted into The Ice Rider. The vehicle is not slinging more shaved ice onto our streets, but serves as a mobile ticket booth that will cruise to different communities in L.A. to offer tickets and discounts. We’d actually rather have another shaved ice truck or ice cream than a mobile machine for Kings tickets crowding our streets (we have, by now, figured out how to use the internet after all), but at this point, the corporate trucking trend has taken firm root and sorry, we just can’t stop this crazy thing.
