Tomorrow night at West Hollywood's The London Hotel, Top Chef veterans including C.J. Jacobson, Antonia Lofaso, Stefan Richter, and The Wilshire's current top toque, Nyesha Arrington, will join talents like Neal Fraser, David LeFevre, Chicago's Bill Kim, and Ellen/Portia-partner Tal Ronnen at an inaugural World Festival, being thrown by Common Threads. This organization is dedicated to teaching children in low income households how to cook and eat nutritiously and counts chef Art Smith and Laurie David among its honorary co-chairs, while local running operations at Para Los Niños in Boyle Heights and Challenger Boys and Girls Club in South L.A.
Starting Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M., sixteen chefs will cook alongside a few of Common Thread's young kitchen superstars while guests stroll the property's English gardens, cocktails and wine in hand for three hours. 100% of the proceeds will go to Common Threads.
