Napa Valley Grille has a new executive chef in its kitchen, replacing Joseph Gillard, the farm-raised adherent to localism that managed to grab a seat on the Westwood Neighborhood Council last summer. Taylor Boudreaux, a Maryland-born Navy brat and veteran of Wolfgang Puck Worldwide and the former executive chef at California Café in Los Gatos, Mastro’s, and Hollywood’s Citizen Smith, has taken over the restaurant’s hot seat. There’s currently no specific word on where Gillard’s talents can be found, while Bordeaux is planning New Year’s Eve specials like pancetta-wrapped venison loin with black truffles and roasted veal marrow.

UPDATE: Joseph Gillard is currently helping to oversee the F&B; program at Coral Tree Cafe, a Napa Valley grille press rep informs us.
