No more eggs and bacon
WeHo’s longstanding diner officially announced its last day via signage at the restaurant this week: “Our last day of business will be December 31, 2011, and we will be closing at 5 P.M.” The Silver Spoon is a classic neighborhood dive with a devoted following, so we’re sure it will be missed by some. Others are happy to see it go, but the rumors of its replacement, that Providence chef Michael Cimarusti is moving in, are still unfounded. [Eater]
