Today, Robin Leach confirms in the Las Vegas Sun that Gordon Ramsay is bound for the Strip. Construction is already starting in the Paris Hotel and Casino for a spring debut of Gordon Ramsay Steak, the celebrity chef’s first branded Sin City restaurant. Plans even call for something pricelessly dubbed a “Eurotunnel” that leads from the casino to the 274-seat, London-themed steakhouse. If there’s anywhere he should be able to connect with the throngs of Yanks who recognize him from TV, it has got to be Vegas, where Ramsay is also considering a gastropub at Caesar’s Palace (David Beckham will definitely make the drive). What else?

Further tying his onscreen persona to his once-esteemed restaurant rep, Ramsay will reportedly put the winner of the spring season of Hell’s Kitchen in as the resident chef here, while Ramsay will supposedly make “regular visits” himself.

Ramsay has made similar chef assignments at Kerry Simon’s L.A. Market and at New York’s BLT Steak, where he must have just loved the name. Additionally, the season three winner of Hell’s Kitchen got a job in Vegas, at the Terra Rossa restaurant inside the Red Rock Casino. But Gordo will run the show at this newest restaurant, and the food will apparently try to cut into Cut’s profits, hinging on a dry-aged beef program, along with additions of pub dishes like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie.
