To greet growing criticism over a newly erected wall that Silver Lakers can bear no longer, Cafe Stella owner Gareth Kantner invited members of the community to come see what he has in store at the French bistro, currently undergoing expansion. The problem is, nobody bothered to show up, even with the offer of free coffee. The owner tweeted his disappointment that people would rather hide behind a keyboard than actually leave the house, but was soon greeted by Echo Park Patch, who shot the following video of Kantner as he explains the changes to come.
Tonight the owner is scheduled to appear at a community meeting with a breakdown of what the wall will eventually look like, using a rendering that Echo Park Patch has an early copy of.
