Torrance’s King’s Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant is getting into the chocolate game, a timely move so near to Valentine’s Day. The South Bay complex is churning out a new line of $11.95 boxed bon bons made from single origin Hawaiian chocolate in two varieties, a milk chocolate bark and a classic spread of dark chocolate-covered macadamia nut clusters, available through 2012, with additional flavors planned in the future. But that’s not all.

Riffing on its new obsession with chocolate, King’s is also offering chocolate French toast topped with Hawaiian chocolate and coconut on its breakfast menu from February 10th-14th, while stocking its bakery with heart-shaped sweets like chocolate-dipped brownies, strawberries, and long stem cookies. Both the boxed chocolates and baked goods can be found at King’s Hawaiian Bakery and Torrance’s The Local Place Bakery.
