Attention beer nuts: It’s your last chance to train for next week’s marathon sessions of standing and waiting for a sip of Pliny the Younger, Russian River’s praised and steadily slobbered over imperial IPA that sees a limited release each year. In addition to the beer raffles currently being boosted at Beachwood and Library Alehouse, Taste Terminal announces that Verdugo Bar will open the first-come, first-serve floodgates to its own stash of approximately 215 pours on Monday, February 20th, with specifics coming via Twitter, while owner Ryan Sweeney’s Surly Goat will do the same on the following day, Tuesday, February 21st, at 6:00 P.M., with Surly Goat passport holders gaining access an hour earlier. And if you don’t get your lips around Pliny, Surly Goat will carry several other of the breweries’ wares on tap, though it will be up to you to determine whether or not they’re worth your left arm and precious minutes.
