Post & Beam Starts Lunch With Deviled Egg Sandwiches and Smoked Baby Backs

Post & Beam, S. Irene Virbila's new favorite restaurant, introduced lunch service yesterday, featuring a list of salad, pasta, soup-of-the-day, and veggie plates priced from ten to fourteen dollars, as well as the restaurant's wood-oven baked mussels, hand-stretched pizzas, and enticing large plates like cornmeal crusted trout, smoked baby back ribs, and boneless beef short ribs. The most novel development here appears to be a list of sandwiches hovering above the ten-dollar point, with a grilled cheese with shaved short ribs, a buttermilk chicken sandwich with collard green relish, and a deviled egg sandwich with garlic roasted tomatoes and bacon smoked in-house.
