It's Farmers Market Season at Yamashiro Again, Starting Thursday

We made it through winter without being scathed and drudged through the daylight savings doldrums without sinking too deeply, and now we're pumped to see we've emerged through yet another seasonal rough patch: the six-month shutter of Yamashiro's farmers market. Though far from the city's best stocked market, this is the golden ideal for anyone as interested in a romantic stroll through the vendors as they are in browsing the beets. Set on top of the Hollywood hillside where Yamashiro restaurant resides, the views of the city below are exhaustive.

The bounty ain't so bad either. In addition to produce vendors, food stalls, and passionate purveyors, Yamashrios' website promises the return of its pagoda bar mixology hub, chef Brock Kleweno's Japanese tacos, and a slinger of natural sausages called Best of the Wurst. The market gets back into action this Thursday at 5:00 P.M. and will operate every Thursday until it sleeps again come September.
