For the entirety of the month of May, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant’s nine area locations will serve a different burger each day. It’s how the chain of brewpubs celebrates National Burger Month each year, and this time around they are adding a special incentive for repeat guests. Anyone who chows down on five or more of May’s featured burgers will be awarded a $15 Iron Hill gift card. Topped with balsamic glazed onions, black pepper chevre cheese, tomato and arugula, today’s burger is inspired by California’s Napa Valley. Other all-beef creations in the pipeline include the South Philly, which comes with garlicky broccoli rabe, roasted long hots and provolone and asiago cheeses; the Primanti Brothers-inspired PittsBurger, with tomato, coleslaw, cheddar cheese and house cut fries piled high on a soft bun; and the Ode to Jerry Garcia Burger, with “shrooms,” jack cheese, caramelized onions and roasted garlic aioli.
