All lanes of the PCH were closed this morning due to a ruinous fire at Malibu’s thirty-year-old Mediterranean restaurant BeauRivage. The fire was reportedly based in the restaurant’s attic and took over an hour-and-a-half before firefighters were able to quell it, thankfully without any injuries. Currently, one report suggests $400,000 in damages to this property, while L.A. Weekly claims the blaze may have also “gutted” the romantic restaurant. [Mercury News; LAW]
