A bold claim for a neighborhood serving live octopus and sea cucumber skeet, but that appears to be the angle of SinoSoul’s chief contrarian and noted Korean food carper, Tony Chen. Today he gives the pizza a pass as he looks at All’Angolo, KTown’s nearly one-year-old Italian. Though they don’t sound especially unique, Chen writes, “A simple insalata del contadino, followed by a (salty) strozzapreti alla Trentina…beats a bowl of $10 naeng myeon all day, every day, for as long as the kingdom of Hangook will exist.” [SinoSoul]
