The first Western edition of New York’s LUCKYRICE Night Market kicks off next Saturday, June 23, at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, uniting a clutch of over 20 chefs to prepare original dishes inspired by Asian street food. Organizers are giving us a sneak peek into what’s going on the menus of two of our local names, letting it slip that Red Medicine’s Jordan Kahn will be making chicken dumplings with pork fat, caramelized sugar, and lemongrass, served with the chefs’ confitures, while David Myers will offer izakaya-leaning amadai no hana-age, a deep-fried tile fish served with pickled lotus, charred tomatoes, and sudachi.

These L.A. chefs will be joined by L.A. locals like Sang Yoon and Jet Tila, Vegas regulars like Saipin Chutima and Mitsuo Endo, and famous names from afar like Charles Phan, Susur Lee, and Eddie Huang. $88 general admission and $125 VIP tickets are available through The Cosmopolitan.
