Well, so much for food needing to be aesthetically pleasing. Umami Burger's latest mutation on the American classic is an ode to pink slime, a scrap-free, all-beef patty that lands with an unholy mess of chicken liver mousse and something called Umami "spray jelly." The burger was created, much like the Umami original, in the kitchen of founder Adam Fleischman (the results of which you're seeing above) and will be available at the chain's Taste of the Nation booth on June 10th, then possibly oozing its way into the restaurant. You know, for anyone feeling jealous of this week's face-eating/brain-munching guys.
