Following this past Saturday’s Downtown Beer Crawl (and we do mean crawl), we just might feel like pounding a serious grip of beers again by September 22. On that particular Saturday, Golden Road Brewing is celebrating “Beer Week” with its “Better Weather Fest,” a Yankee take on Oktoberfest, minus the crappy oopah music, creepy lederhosen, and cantilevered busts. (Oh right, this is L.A., so omit that last one.) At the event, Golden Road will re-release its Burning Bush IPA and welcome over twelve other breweries from the region and beyond to its H.Q., including TAPS Fish House, Avery, Eagle Rock, Oskar Blues, Strand Brewing Co., and Lady Face.

This Atwater Village-based brewhaha, going from noon to 4:00 P.M., will be priced at $30 pre-event (before September 20), $40 at the door, and just $15 for your poor, sad designated driver, with tickets on sale over the internets. The ticket buys you a commemorative hat and drinking glass, along with access to five six-ounce pours for the day. And just in case you’d be better off with a six-pack for a third of the cost, the first 500 ticket-buyers receive goodie bags with a bunch of swag like stickers, sunglasses, and coasters.
