Taste of Abbot Kinney, the annual food tasting fundraiser for Venice-based performing arts after-school program, Inside Out Community Arts, returns for its fourth year on Sunday, October 14. The lineup of participating restaurants is still being locked down and this year, Food Network’s Adam Gertler will host a VIP reception at 3:00 P.M., while Hal Fredrick will stand in with fellow Hal’s owners, Don and Linda Novack, as the event’s chairs. And the format this year?

Taste of Abbot Kinney will course a tour of the street from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M., with local chefs offering samples, beer and wine tastings, along with planned cooking demos, DJs, and an extra half hour of samples for VIPS, along with the elbow-rubbing sesh with Gertler. Tickets are limited to 500 to ensure the food flows freely on this fashionable street. Tickets and additional information online.
