No, you can’t buy tickets yet. But as you know if you’ve been to Next or, lately, Alinea, the first step in getting tickets is registering an account, and that’s what you can now do for 21st Century Limited, the New York-to-Chicago-and-back collaboration between Grant Achatz’s Alinea and Daniel Humm’s equally fabled Eleven Madison Park. And because they’re taking registrations, we also finally know the precise details. The dates are September 26th through September 30th for Alinea cooking at Eleven Madison Park, and October 10th through 14th for Eleven Madison Park cooking in Chicago. Both restaurants will have a team of chefs at home while they’re on the road, serving their regular menus. The price, as previously reported, is $495 plus a 20% service charge (so yes, that’s $594 total) and includes a full tasting menu like each restaurant would serve at home, plus reserve wine pairings. And tickets will go on sale… “soon.” Get the details and register your account at the special 21st Century Limited website, which is here.
