Cousins Maine Lobster, known for its roving incarnation as a cousin-operated food truck loaded with Connecticut-style lobster rolls and skewered split lobster tails with meat flown-in daily from Maine, is setting up a restaurant within a lounge space tomorrow. Following four months on the road, Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis' crustacean center will be found starting Friday at Old Town Pasadena's Live Mixx Lounge on Colorado Boulevard. In addition to its familiar output, which includes shrimp rolls and crab salad rolls, the new outlet will feature lobster tacos, lobster mac and Asiago cheese with panko crumbs, lobster cobb salad, bisque, a brioche lobster BLT, and New England clam chowder.
The concept is using the lounge's kitchen and apparently has its own separated seating and signage. Of course, for anyone who can't make it Pas or won't step foot in a place called Live Mixx, the truck is still in full operation, too. See the full menu right here, available from 11:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.
