In September 2011, The Good Food Festival & Conference ended with the premier of an event called Localicious, which teamed a handful of L.A.’s best locally-minded market chefs with a specific farm to each create a truly seasonal dish or two. The results were not only a timely exaltation of late summer’s best, but a damned delicious excuse to gorge on tomatoes, strawberries, and peaches before the best ones went into hibernation. This Sunday, November 4, the event returns to the Annenberg Community Beach House from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. What can you expect?

Along with returning chefs from Fig, Michael’s, Joe’s, Lucques, Rustic Canyon, and Josie, you can expect Bradley Miller from Inn at Seventh Ray, Matt Biancaniello (newly liberated from Hotel Roosevelt’s Library Bar), Roxana Jullapat of Cook’s County, Walter Manzke of forthcoming Republique, and a preview of Abbot Kinney’s Feed Body & Soul with chef Matt Dickson.

$125 buys entry and unlimited tastes from the tag-teams of chefs and farmers. For tickets and a list of participants, check out the event’s website.
