“Ludo Season” is starting again, as the French chef is finally unzipping his lips about the restaurant he’s planning with the two doods from Animal and a tenth and final iteration of his LudoBites pop-up, just a week after dropping his new cookbook and gearing up for a mentoring stint on the show The Taste. On November 8, Lefebvre will hold a one-night return of LudoBites, as he’s designing a menu for the 2012 Garagiste Festival in Paso Robles, celebrating the Central Coast’s micro-batch indie winemakers who typify a similar vein as Bordeaux’s garagistes movement.

Ludo will kick off the four-day soiree that Thursday night at Thomas Hill Organics restaurant with a six-course menu titled “LudoBites Garagiste” in which the chef will pair his dishes with the wines of Cloak & Dagger, Alta Colina Vineyards, Bon Niche Cellars, Cutruzzola Vineyards, La Filice, and Von Holt.

And as it wouldn’t really be LudoBites if 99% of those seeking a ticket were left holding their veuve, the seating is incredibly limited, with a small lot of tickets going on sale this Thursday, with details being emailed only to those signed up to Garagiste Festival’s recipient list. Full specifics on the four-day celebration’s Ludo-less events are online.
