If you think your tuna casserole just might be good enough to stand up to Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Graham Elliot, the opportunity to try out for Masterchef returns to L.A. on November 3. Open-call auditions will be held that Saturday at the Sunset Boulevard location of Cordon Bleu in Hollywood from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Typically, those interested whip something up at home and stand in line all day, hoping the dish isn’t drying out or melting all the while. Then, a panel of expert judges the true heroes of the day (which don’t include the show’s more famous hosts), sample each recipe for quality and interview the hopefuls for television-readiness and potential drama.
