Brooke Williamson Launches New Menu at Hudson House

If there's one thing pushing us to suffer through another season of Top Chef, it's Brooke Williamson, the self-taught chef we've followed from Amuse Cafe to Beechwood to the two coastal gastro-pubs she now owns with her husband, Nick Roberts, The Tripel and Hudson House. While waiting for the Quickfire Challenge to engage next month, Williamson is busying herself with a new menu at the latter restaurant in Redondo Beach, introducing a new fall-inspired menu that makes it sound as though the chef has been wandering the coasts of Thailand. New bar-friendly flavors include arame-spiced chicken drumettes with a spicy red curry, black vinegar shrimp with an edible shell, fresh coconut, and plantains, and for dessert, a coconut avocado ice cream sandwich with a bacon waffle cookie. To wash it all down, you'll catch a vodka cocktail with pickled veggies, a spicy watermelon margarita, and barrel-aged Sazeracs. See Hudson House's full new food and drink menus below.
