A Full Plate, the cafe and catering operation that was doing its thing on Liberties Walk back when neighboring Piazza at Schmidt’s and its restaurants and businesses were just a glimmer in in developer Bart Blatstein’s eye, called it quits after service on Sunday. But fear not, the Insider reports that owners Shannon Dougherty and Liz Petersen are getting their next venture ready to open. That will be Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen, which promises to have 16 taps and comfort-y grub described as “70s housewife.” It will seat roughly 50 patrons, and will come to life across from Loco Pez at the six-spoked intersection where East Norris Street collides with Susquehanna Avenue., and Cedar Street. The opening is slated for the second week of January. [Insider]
