Buffalo’s Cafe, a 28-year-old wings-chain with locations in Georgia, Florida, Indiana, and North Carolina, is not surprisingly trying to gain ground in less crappy states. To that end, the brand is opening its first L.A. outlet today on the corner of Sepulveda and Santa Monica, taking a corner inside of a free-standing Fatburger.

Buffalo’s wings are served both boneless and boned, coming in a range of heat from “mild” to “Death Valley,” and including sauces like coconut jerk, sweet bourbon barbecue, and sweet teriyaki. The chain’s big menu also sports weird and sloppy Tex-Mex creations like Southwest egg-rolls, a chipotle burger, and Smoky Mountain “Nachalos.” (All of which appear to have salsa, sour cream, and queso verde in common).

In other Fatburger news, the locally-based chain is opening its newest branch at Westfield Century City tomorrow.
