Tilman J. Fertitta, the Texas billionaire behind Morton’s the Steakhouse, Rainforest Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and 30 other Landry’s Inc.–owned franchises, purchased a massive apartment in Tribeca. His splurge comes days after news broke that Landry’s has offered to acquire Ark Restaurant Corp. for $71 million … in cash. The 4,000-square-foot pad is in a building on York Street that has a Maserati dealership downstairs, which is awkward because Fertitta owns Bentley and Rolls-Royce dealerships.
