The dust is settling on the Point Dume Village space that housed Paul Shoemaker's Savory prior to the lease dispute that lead to the restaurant's closure. Malibu Times clears the path for a new place called Duck Dive, a gastropub that's applying for a beer and wine license at the address. Unfortunately for the owners, they appear to be dropping in on a San Diego pub of the same name, which will most likely necessitate intervention between these two beer-fueled brahs before a beach brawl goes down.
