Following his 2011 firing in the wake of Phil Jackson’s departure, 50-year-old Rudy Garciduenas went from a 26-year career as The Lakers equipment to a partner in Sam Choy’s Pineapple Express food truck. The co-owner is usually found behind the truck’s steering wheel and taking orders, telling The L.A. Times that he never wears any of his seven NBA championship rings because “I’d rather not end up with teriyaki sauce all over them.” [LAT]
