Everyone’s favorite roundtable discussion of Bay Area restaurants by a trio often sassy armchair critics, Check, Please!, debuts its 100th episode and kicks off its eighth season tonight. Host Leslie Sbrocco leads the gang through a discussion of their visits to 25-year-old Cambodian restaurant Angkor Borei in Bernal Heights, Indigo in Hayes Valley, and 15-year-old Union Square stalwart Farallon. See the full episode, and some dish highlights, below.

Dishes to try: The ahmohk at Angkor Borei, which is a fish curry mousse served in a banana leaf basket; duck confit with risotto at Indigo; and squid and squid-ink pasta at Farallon.

If you’d prefer to DVR it, the show airs tonight on KQED at 7:30 p.m.
