Paper Or Plastik Launches Dinner Menus in Mid-City

Paper Or Plastik, the atmospheric cafe at Mimoda Studio and Theater School, is soft-launching dinner this Thursday and Friday from 5:30 to 10:00 P.M., with intentions to expand the farm-sourced selection to five nights a week after a truncated run through April. The menu is a short bill of fare priced a la carte, with weekly chalkboard specials and a $29 prix-fixe.

Served with the option of wine, beer, Intelligentsia and Handsome Coffee Roasters coffee, and pour over mixed coffee and fruit drinks using the cafe's house blend, dishes include a grilled veal burger with cave-aged gruyere, spring vegetable pappardelle with porcinis and asparagus, and heart-healthy preparations of honey braised carrot with roasted Brussels sprouts, bulgur wheat with baby artichokes, and eggplant with bell peppers, hazlenuts, and aged balsamic.
