This Monday, Suzanne Goin and partner Caroline Styne open the third location of the Larder concept they first explored at their Brentwood restaurant Tavern. Opening for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Larder at Burton Way will cater to neighborhood workers and residents of the attached apartment building, providing seasonal dishes prepared fresh, pre-packaged fancies, and bakery items for guests to take-out of the space or eat inside at cushioned banquets. In addition, a wine bar is on hand with a list put together by Styne, who is nominated for a James Beard Award for “Outstanding Restaurateur” this year.

Dishes include Mediterranean salads and sandwiches on the restaurant’s breads. The Larder at Burton Way will also introduce hot dishes to the menu like Goin’s famous Devil’s chicken thighs, bucatini and lamb meatballs with spiced tomato, crumbled feta, and black olives, pork shoulder with cornbread, and steak frites with béarnaise.

The restaurant will feature patio dining on the sidewalk in a sea of green plants and shrubs, while the inside has the clean look of glass tiles, black chairs, giant chalkboard menus, and the concept’s signature drum shade chandeliers. Display cases showcase the bakery output, as well as retail products like cookbooks and cooking supplies.

The opening of The Larder at Burton Way follows an expansion to West Hollywood at The Larder on Maple Drive and will be followed by a location coming to LAX this June.
