Downtown Beverly Hills is set to get an authentic new Israeli restaurant by way of Tel Aviv (oh, and Encino). Itzik Hagadol, which has locations in both Jaffa and on Ventura Blvd., is overtaking the Canon Drive space once occupied by Little Tel Aviv cafe. The restaurant's newest location is currently under construction, with the eventual goal of bringing a serious spread of Middle Eastern mezze, 20 organic house salads, falafel, flatbread, and mixed veal and lamb kebabs to the 90210. The restaurant also specializes in grill items, like baby lamb chops, chicken heart, liver, and schnitzel, and 100% natural Angus steaks. Check out the menus right here and expect an opening sometime this summer.
