David George Gordon, author of such books as The Eat-a-Bug Cookbook and The Compleat Cockroach, showed up last night on The Late Late Show with what he called “an array of finger foods.” James Corden and guests Anna Faris and Tituss Burgess didn’t seem thrilled, but they gave Gordon decent reviews for grasshopper kabobs, a more literal version of the childhood favorite “ants on a log,” cockroach canapés, and a whole tarantula, deep-fried before their eyes.
