Proving that he’ll show up just about anywhere these days, Rick Bayless is coming to the furniture department at Macy’s Pasadena on Lake Avenue next Wednesday, September 27th, to cook a few dishes while promoting his new book, Fiesta at Rick’s. Seating is first-come, first-serve at 11:30 A.M., and is limited to the first 200 fans who show up with a five-dollar donation for the L.A. Regional Food Bank. This might also be the best time to hit Red O and find the consulting chef in the kitchen, if you’re still interested in what Bayless might show SoCal about Mexican cooking.
