Booze You Can Use

Canned Whiskey Is a Real Thing!

It’s not quite Jameson-in-a-juice-box, but we’ll take what we can get! A company called Scottish Spirits — based in Panama, not Scotland — is testing canned, blended whisky (not whiskey, which is how non-Scots spell it) in Caribbean and South American markets. And Scots are kind of angry about it! According to the Daily Mail, the Scotch Whisky Association is going to try to ban the cans because they say the packaging violates international labeling rules. But still! Our only question (besides when can we buy this Stateside?): Would it be so hard to make the cans look like tiny, single-use flasks? We don’t think it would be! [Daily Mail UK via Gawker]
