Angel City Brewing is opening its new Downtown brewery on March 17th. Starting this Friday at 5:00 P.M. and taking place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the brewery’s full debut, Angel City will show off a new beer and art garden by welcoming the public to a party there. A thirteen-hour party, that is, that ends each day at 1:00 A.M. Not bad to get things started. What can you expect?

The garden sits across the street from the brewery in an empty lot taken over by Angel City owner Michael Bowe, whose beers will be sold here alongside the offerings of a few food trucks, plus local artwork and live musicians, meaning this will probably soak up any overflow from this weekend’s TruckIt Fest at Union Station. Unfortunately, since the brewery itself isn’t open, the beer is only going to be in bottles. Fortunately, since The Brewery Arts Complex rarely allows us to enjoy both its drinks and its residents’ artwork at the same time, Angel City’s pre-party paves the way for one of our favorite past times: Getting a little swerve on before making fun of other people’s lifework. Yaaay! See below for the full schedule and address.
